Thousand Oaks Arts Festival
Celebrate the Arts at the 7th Annual Thousand Oaks Arts Festival that will take place September 11th & 12th at the Thousand Oaks Civics Arts Plaza and The Lakes Shopping Center from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. Features more than 60 visual art exhibitors, Continuous live performances at two stages, Children's hands-on artistic and interactive art exhibits, Wine tasting, Refreshment vendors and traveling gourmet food trucks from 2-5pm. Honorary Chairman Scott Medlock, famed PGA Artist will be on had each day from 2-4pm.

Admission and Parking are FREE!

Community Event: Global E-Recycles
Global E-Recyclers is working with Help of Ojai to help them raise money that will benefit various programs within the organization. The event is taking place on September 11th, 2010, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. & 3:00 p.m. The address is 370 Baldwin Rd., Ojai, CA. 93023. At this time we will be accepting the following items to be recycled: CRT Monitors, TV’s, Cell Phones, Fax Machines, Printers, VCR’s, Copiers, Toners, Monitors & Terminals, Hard Drives, Main Frames, Keyboards/Mice, Laptops and power supplies and many other electronics. Community Event: Bingo
Bears Ventura and AIDS Project Ventura County will host an afternoon of Bingo. This event will occur on September 19, 2010 from 3:00 to 6:30PM at the Ventura Harbor Comedy Club located in the Ventura Harbor Village at 1559 Spinnaker Drive, Suite 205 Ventura. This is a fundraiser to help raise needed funds for AIDS Project Ventura County’s services, such as HIV Rapid Result testing, Mental Health & Counseling and the food pantry.

Event tickets are $25.00 cash at the door and will include 10 games of Bingo and a free evening of comedy immediately following Bingo. Extra tickets and Early Bird games will also be available. The afternoon will also include raffles as well as a Silent Auction with items donated by local Ventura County businesses. Snacks will also be available to purchase
